The Solution

Built for the Prison Yard Workouts

The facility houses offenders who participate in county work programs, making physical conditioning and healthy daily routines an important part of the correctional environment.

Outdoor-Fit supplied two stations designed for high-volume, unsupervised use in secure environments: Cali-Rig 26 and Pro-Drive Chest Press.

Both units are weather-resistant and engineered for long-term use in correctional recreation areas. Their heavy-duty construction, tamperproof components, and low-maintenance design help reduce ongoing servicing requirements, with periodic inspections recommended to support safe operation and long-term performance.

Cali-Rig 26

Cali-Rig 26 is a multi-user correctional calisthenics system featuring two 84" pull-up bars, an ADA-height 66" pull-up bar, 42" parallel bars, a sit-up bench, and a band stretching post, supporting a wide range of bodyweight strength, flexibility, and functional training exercises. Built with tamper-resistant hardware and no removable components for secure, low-maintenance use in correctional recreation areas.

Pro-Drive Chest Press

Pro-Drive Chest Press is a correctional-grade upper-body strength station featuring a guided pressing movement and a 100 lb. selectorized weight stack adjustable in 10 lb. increments. It allows inmates to train the chest, shoulders, and arms with real resistance while avoiding the security risks associated with free weights and traditional commercial gym equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Outdoor-Fit Prison Workout Solutions

Yes. The Pro-Drive Chest Press delivers genuine resistance through a guided pressing movement and a fully enclosed 100 lb selectorized weight stack, adjustable in 10 lb increments — so inmates can train the chest, shoulders, and arms with real load. Because there are no loose plates or bars to conceal or repurpose, and the stack stays enclosed and can be secured by staff, it avoids the contraband and weaponization risks of traditional gym equipment.

The Cali-Rig 26 is a multi-user calisthenics system — its two 84″ pull-up bars, ADA-height 66″ pull-up bar, 42″ parallel bars, sit-up bench, and band stretching post let several inmates train at the same time across different stations, so a yard population can stay active in a compact footprint. The Pro-Drive Chest Press is a single-user station.

Yes. All Outdoor-Fit equipment must be anchored to a structurally sound concrete pad or footing — concrete should be at least 6″ thick. Anchor specifications are included in the installation guide provided at time of sale. Anchors are not supplied by Outdoor-Fit; the appropriate type is determined by a local anchoring specialist based on your concrete specs.

The Cali-Rig 26 is a static correctional calisthenics equipment with no moving components, requiring only routine structural inspections and periodic hardware checks.

The Pro-Drive Chest Press is engineered for correctional use. We recommend regular inspections of all equipment, including structural components, hardware, and moving parts where applicable, along with quick visual checks weekly or more frequently in high-use correctional recreation areas. Maintenance checklists are provided with every installation.

Outdoor-Fit does not typically self-install but can connect you with trusted installation partners in your area. Detailed installation guides are provided at time of sale, including step-by-step instructions, hardware lists, anchor specs, and clearance diagrams.
